Kent Group Representative at VTTA AGM

The Kent Group urgently seeks two delegates to attend the VTTA National AGM at Alcester, Warwickshire, at 1400hrs on Saturday 2 February 2013. Travelling expenses will be met by the Group. VTTA (Kent group) Annual reliability trial

VTTA (Kent group) Annual reliability trial is to be held on Sunday 3rd February 2013.

HQ is at Bethersden village hall

Usual routes of 33 or 50 miles

Pre entry is £2 and cheques should be made payable to vtta (kent group) and sent to the organiser. Entry on the day will be £3.

If a route sheet is required then please send a sae to the organiser.

KVN Wednesday Wobblers Meetings

A message from Pat Hill indicates that from 11 July 2012 the meetings list will be amended.

The Rose & Crown at Mundy Bois will replace the Smarden Bell in the rota (and thereafter until further notice).

This change happened after the last KVN went to print. The updated list will appear in the September issue.

Charles Robson

Charlie's funeral will be at 2:15 at All Soul's Church in Susan's Road , Eastbourne. Charles will then go to the Crematorium for 3:15 and his wake will be at 4:00.

Sadly I have to tell you that Charles Robson died on Saturday, June 9th 2012.

His funeral will take place on July 2nd and full details will be added when they are finalised..

Charles was Kent Group recorder and later took the same office for the Surrey/Sussex Group, updating all the Group records and inspiring its members to compete at the highest level in national competitions. He competed, with great success, in events all over the country at all distances from 10 miles to 24 hours.
